Borderlink is looking for native English speakers with experience to fill openings as ALTs in various prefecture/cities in the Kanto area. You MUST be currently living in Japan with a valid work visa to apply.

Brief description of position:
An ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) assists the instruction of the English language by Japanese teachers of English at public Japanese elementary, junior high and/or high schools. An ALT aids in pronunciation training and in the motivation of English usage both in and outside the schools. ALTs are also encouraged to participate in culture exchange, school sports festivals and other events, and each lunch with the students. We aim to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of different cultures though their interaction with ALTs. We offer ALTs a variety of services so that they can get the most out of their experience with Borderlink. By learning Japanese and increasing their understanding of their surroundings in Japan, it makes it easier for the ALTs to adjust to the culture. We wish to be pioneers in the internationalization of Japan and wish to help and support foreigners working in Japan. Here at Borderlink, we wish to be the bridge between borders. We are looking for ALTs who can have a positive influence on teachers and children, and truly change English education in Japan if only by reaching a few people.
