ALTIA CENTRAL is looking for 3 great people to join our team as a part-time Elementary school ALT in Suita city, just north of Osaka city from May 6th, 2010. These positions pay ¥14,000 per day plus transportation for a total of 140 working days between May 6th and Feb 28th, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Each ALT will teach about 4 days per week on average and visit 11 Elementary schools around Suita city. Our Recruiting staff will be conducting interviews at our head office in Nagoya city as well as in Osaka and we are looking forward to meeting as many interested applicants as possible.
Successful applicants must be flexible, enjoy working with young children, and be motivated to go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their students. A strong desire to continue to live and work in Japan, solid Japanese language skills, and some teaching experience with young learners is also highly recommended, and a minimum BA/BS degree is required for visa purposes.
