MY English School is looking to fill a combined ALT/English School position near Shinjo in Yamagata Prefecture.

Applicant requirements:
1) Minimum two years experience teaching in Japan
2) Conversational Japanese ability
3) Valid work visa
4) Valid driving license
5) Ability to move to Shinjo, Yamagata area for start at beginning of April
6) Willingness to study for and obtain an approved TEFL certificate within the first year of employment (for those not already holding one) with MY English School support
7) Professional attitude and demeanor
Love working with children, but able to teach all age groups
Applicant preferences:
1) TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or certified teacher qualifications
2) Experience living in rural Japan
Candidates must love working with children and be able to work with others to create a fun learning environment in the classroom.
